Conan the Barbarian – Trailer #2

by under WATCH on May 5th
With the crappy teaser trailer we got last time around, I wasn’t so sure whether I would fund myself interested in the rebirth of the Conan series…I can say now that I’m genuinely excited to see this flick.

Avatar 2 & 3 Get Bumped Frame Rates

by under WATCH on Apr 2nd
I know, I know, who gives a shit about the Avatar franchise, blah blah blah. Well for one, this author loved the hell out of his blue Na’vi and their world of Pandora. One just needs to do a search on this website to see that I’m the resident Avatard. Well, call me silly, stupid, what have you, but I’m genuinely excited for these sequels.

Tron Legacy – Review

by under WATCH on Dec 28th
You’d think with some of the reviews that currently exist for this movie, that it stepped on your puppy, kicked your grandma down a flight of stairs, and spat in the eye of a World War II veteran. I’m here to say right now that every review that you’ve read up until this point has been through the eyes of a critic…that is to say, someone who’s actually paid to have an opinion, and these...

Panasonic Got One Hell of an Exclusivity Deal

by under WATCH on Dec 15th
If you’re one of the unfortunate people to pick up on the 3DTV craze that’s been going around (and thankfully subsiding), and you’re hoping to watch Avatar in 3D on Blu-Ray, then you’re going to be waiting for quite a long time.

It Begins – Comparing Tron Legacy to Avatar

by under READ, WATCH on Dec 5th
People who frequent this site know already that I am an apologetic Avatard and will be that way for the rest of my life I’m sure. It’s much like how I’ll defend Dune and Tank Girl as being amazing movies. I will not stand, nor should any of you, to hear people (including movie critics) comparing one movie to the other. It’s just not fair.

Pregnant Na’vi Scene Cut From Avatar

by under WATCH on Nov 16th
I’m such an Avatar’d it’s not even funny. Seriously, seeing it 3 times in the theater should be proof enough that I really enjoyed this movie. There are many people who didn’t like it, and others who claimed that it was typical James Cameron derp…but I don’t care, I’m excited for the new release on home video this week.

Hustler’s This Ain’t Avatar – Trailer

by under WATCH on Sep 29th
Hustler struck gold a little while back when they started lampooning movies and celebrities (like Sarah Palin) in their pornos and it seems that they’ve finally put the wraps on their newest abortion that would probably be highly regarded by everyone at WPR, This Ain’t Avatar XXX.

James Cameron Hates Cheap 3D

by under WATCH on Sep 1st
In a move that can only be described as “shitting where you eat”, James Cameron has dissed the very existence of Piranha 3D, saying it cheapens the medium and brings it back to it’s bad horror movie days of the 70s and 80s. He then proceeds to stroke his own ego, stating that the current 3D push is a renaissance quoting that both Disney and Martin Scorsese are making films using the medium. What this...

Avatar Prequel Novel in the Works

by under READ, WATCH on Feb 15th
If you’re one of the fans of the Avatar universe (like me) news like this is exciting. Jon Landau, the producer of Avatar, revealed in an interview that James Cameron is planning on writing a prequel book to help answer some of the more nagging plot-holes and questions that, at least some of us, would like to know the answer to.

RLR #23 – Haters Gonna Hate

by under Uncategorized on Feb 8th
That’s right bitches, we’re back! Thanks to that 5 month hiatus after PAX which nearly everyone on the panel got infected with convention SARS (Swine-flu to be exact), we’re all rested up and ready to bring the pain in what I’d like to think as a rebooting of the Red-Light Roundtable. On the episode we get into what each of us has been up to for the past 5 months and more!

My Third Helping of Avatar

by under WATCH on Jan 28th
This weekend, I actually plan on going to see a Avatar (the Cameron flick) in the theatre for a third time. I can’t even tell you how many other movies that I’ve ever seen 3 times in the theatre, because I honestly think this is the first time I’ve done something like this in my adult life.
