If you’re a PSN user, either on the PS3 or the PSP, then Sony is currently trying to give you free products to make up for the three weeks that they were down. (Hey Anonymous, thanks for the free games!)

According to the PlayStation Blog, users who were affected by the outage will be able to pick from a list of games that they’re going to allow you to download for free over the next 30 days…but you get to keep the games forever.

They’re offering you the choice of two from the list of PS3 games (if you used PSN through the PS3):

  • Dead Nation
  • inFAMOUS
  • LittleBigPlanet
  • Super Stardust HD
  • Wipeout HD + Fury

Additionally you can download two of the following list of PSP games (if you used PSN through the PSP):

  • LittleBigPlanet (PSP)
  • ModNation Racers
  • Pursuit Force
  • Killzone Liberation

Looks like I’ll be playing a whole bunch of Little Big Planet in the next few weeks considering I’m going to get both the PS3 and PSP versions when I get around to downloading them…and I’m also excited to check out the Killzone Liberation game for PSP, I’m always a bit iffy on PSP ports of first person games even if they’re not FPS on the portable system.

There’s a ton of other information over the PSBlog if you want to see what else they’re offering as recompense for their service derp.
