Sir Terry Pratchett Passes Away at Age 66
If you’ve never heard or read anything from the Discworld Series, the books there have made Sir Terry Pratchett the second most read author in Britain (behind J.K. Rowling). Sir Pratchett wrote more than 70 books during his career and completed his final book last summer (2014). Sadly, Sir Pratchett had been suffering from Alzheimers in recent years, but he was always making good sport of it on his social media.
“The world has lost one of its brightest, sharpest minds,” said Larry Finlay of his publishers Transworld.
The author died at home, surrounded by his family, “with his cat sleeping on his bed”, he added.
IF you’ve lost or never discovered any of the books by Terry Pratchett, I highly suggest you look at the large volume of his works available on Amazon. You will not be disappointed. His books will always live on, and the best way to remember him is by diving into the worlds he created.
