ODST

You’d think that in this day and age, you wouldn’t be able to get away with having unlock keys as downloadable content, but alas, it still happens and it looks like Halo 3: ODST is the latest example of this bullshit behaviour. If you didn’t already know, pre-ordering Halo 3: ODST gets you Sgt.Johnson for the new Firefight mode debuting in Halo 3: ODST. Most of the time, exclusive pre-order stuff like this (which is bullshit to begin with) comes in the form of actual downloadable content. (such as the Scarecrow challenge map I got for buying Batman at GAME) However, if this Xbox.com page for Halo 3: ODST is to believed, then dropping Sgt.Johnson into Firefight is no more than an unlock key away. Of course, Xbox.com has been wrong before but then it has also been right before, with Mass Effect’s recent Pinnacle Station DLC leak being the latest example. We’d contact Bungie or Microsoft for comment, but they’d probably just laugh in our faces. As for that pricing which is probably a mistake, that would be the equivalent of £85,000/$125,000 to get Sgt.Johnson into Firefight without preordering.
