The Rock’s “Hercules” Has It’s First Trailer
Can you smell what the Rock is cooking?….
Proof that once is never enough, Hercules is coming yet again to theaters this year and we have your first look at the second entry. This time around The Rock is putting on the sandals and teaming up with director Brett Ratner to give us a little bit of a different take on the Ancient Greek demi-god. Based on the Radical Comics Graphic Novel, Hercules: The Thracian Wars, Hercules is now a sword for hire paid to help a Thracian King fight a war. This version looks less Kevin Sorbo and much more like a Conan/God of War love child, so that’s a plus. All I know is that this new take on Hercules already looks more promising than that steaming pile of Greek tragedy that got released earlier this year(Check out our review). The Rock usually makes pretty entertaining movies so I’m sure I’ll be checking this out, I just hope it doesn’t wind up being The Scorpion King 2, or 3, or whatever number they are on now. Check out the trailer and tell us what you think. Will this Hercules make Zeus proud, or will angry thunderbolts start to reign down from Olympus?
