Like it or not, zombies are here to stay. Whether it be the human fascination with our own mortality or the fear that humanity is fleeting and temporary, zombies have infiltrated the world’s subconscious. Regardless of the medium, the zombie horde has managed to shamble (or in some cases run full bore) into our morbid hearts.

Like most people of my generation, I was brought up watching movies starring the walking undead. Starting all the way back from the old George Romero movies up until the instant classics like Evil Dead 2, Army of Darkness, and Shawn of the Dead; I’ve been a huge fan of the genre, how could one not be?!?

My expertise comes mainly from zombie video games. I’ve got just about every edition of Resident Evil, Zombies Ate my Neighbors, House of the Dead, and any other zombie game that has been invented and I can say without a doubt that it is probably one of the best genres in gaming to date. What other game genre has ever elicited horror and fun at the same time?

There are so many other outlets that lend themselves to the zombie genre that I’m sure we’ll cover when we record this week, but I know this for certain; this week promises to be one of the best episodes to date.

Joining me on the podcast will be our usual cast of whores BigPopaGamer, and TheF1sh. Between all three of us, we have a combined knowledge of nearly 60 years on the topic. Like all of our shows, anyone who wants their segment to be used during the break, or if they have burning questions they need answers to, can submit it to me by email: [email protected]. We will most likely be recording tonight or tomorrow, so get off your asses submit stuff!
