Before it even got off the ground, Netflix has dropped Qwikster.

Not even a month has gone by since Netflix first announced that they would separate its rental division to a new site called Qwikster, and they’re already abandoning the idea. In a rare sign of “listening to the customers”, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings had this to say:

It is clear that for many of our members two websites would make things more difficult, so we are going to keep Netflix as one place to go for streaming and DVDs.

This means no change: one website, one account, one password… in other words, no Qwikster.

Whether this means that the game rental concept has been dropped is yet to be seen.
