PLUG Kickstarter Page Asks for Your Help
PLUG, the little project with big aspirations has just put up a Kickstarter page and has some pretty neat incentives.
If you guys remember, I put up a little teaser post about the Post-Aplocalyptic Robo Thriller ‘PLUG’. I had the fortune to hang out on set for an entire afternoon and see David Levy and his crew bring the world of PLUG to life.
Due to David’s request I can’t give out too much information about the story, but what I can say is that PLUG is a little project with big aspirations. What I mean by this is that even though there are only a handful of people putting it together their dedication and love for PLUG gives it the potential to be something absolutely amazing
Where does the Kickstarter come into play? Well, when it comes to making something as awesome as PLUG you need to be able to fund it. So David Levy has created a KickStarter page to help get the final scenes and visual effects in place and giving us all a chance to be a part of something special. They’ve also released the second teaser available on their website to entice you. With every level of donation there is an incentive attached to it. As a bonus, any pledge of 1,000 Dollars US or more gets you a private digital art class. Why would you want this? Well, David and Steambot Studios have done some of the art and visuals for projects like Brink, Tron Legacy, and Assassins Creed. And if that’s not enough allow David to tell you himself.
At about 58 seconds in you see me and my shnoz as I put on my headset, I know, it’s pretty awesome.
So when you’re done wondering how one can live with a nose so large you can help out the PLUG cast and crew by donating to the project. They’re currently at $2,027 with a goal of $25,000 by July 21. I’ll be putting my money where my mouth is and donating what I can and we hope that you all can too.
