Ni no Kuni Coming to the US Early Next Year
Remember that awesome looking, Studio Ghibli animated RPG that looked far too good to ever leave Japanese shores? About that…
Level-5 president Akihiro Hino off-handedly mentioned during a TGS Sony Computer Entertainment Asia press conference today that Ni no Kuni: Shiroki Seihai no Joō (roughly translated as Second Country: The Queen of White Sacred Ash) was currently in the English translation process. Even more surprisingly, he announced that the game would be hitting US PlayStation 3s by early 2012! The Nintendo DS version, titled Ni no Kuni: Shikkoku no Madōshi (or Second Country: The Jet-Black Mage) has yet to receive a US release date, but keep your fingers crossed.
For those who have forgotten just how awesome the game looks, here is the trailer yet again.
