I know this is only some 4 minutes of the movie, but if that keep this vibe throughout it’s going to be incredibly different than any other Apes movie before it.

Andy Serkis (motion capture king, look him up if you don’t know who he’s portrayed) introduces a 4-minute clip where Caesar comes to the aid of his human friend who seems to have some kind of mental disease, I’m guess alzheimer’s disease or something.

It’s really cool watching Caesar get so pissed off when someone he truly loves is getting picked on by a neighbor and comes to his defense. I have a feeling that something bad happens to this man who raised him and that sets off him doing the whole ape planetary conquest. This clip does have a few touching moments, especially at the end.
