This week sees new manga releases from Seven Seas Entertainment and VIZ Media.

The only thing standing between humans and complete subjugation to vampires is sheer tenacity and Cursed Gear. Yuichiro has the first in spades, but to increase the amount of power he can draw from the demon inside his cursed sword, he enters a coma-like state to thin the barrier between human and demon. His power upgrade can come none too soon, as the vampire queen reveals her plans to annihilate the human resistance and claim true dominion over Japan.

Every time a promising villain appears, he beats the snot out of ’em with one punch. Can Saitama finally find an opponent who can go toe-to-toe with him and give his life some meaning? Or is he doomed to a life of superpowered boredom?

He’s easily taken out a number of monsters, including a crabby creature, a malicious mosquito girl, and a muscly meathead. But his humdrum life takes a drastic turn when he meets Genos – a cyborg who wants to uncover the secret behind his strength.

One Piece Omnibus Volumes 37-39 by Eiichiro Oda

In Water Seven, a serious seafarer’s city and one of the last stops in Paradise, Luffy and his Straw Hat crew come up against competing sets of assassins, each seeking the plans for Pluton, one of the ancient world’s most powerful weapons. Newest Straw Hats member Nico Robin may have the blueprints, but she’s been spirited away on the speeding Sea Train, and may be on the run from the Straw Hats themselves.
