This week sees new manga releases from Dark Horse Comics, Kodansha Comics, Seven Seas Entertainment, and Yen Press.

Speak of the devil and he’ll fry you a burger. Sadao Maou, (aka Satan, the Devil King) has been relegated to flipping burgers at a MgRonald in suburban Tokyo. His greatest challenge so far, though, comes when a Sentucky Fried Chicken opens up across the street. Maou once led the forces of darkness, but can he triumph over the forces of chicken? And his new neighbor seems awfully polite and proper, almost as if she were hiding something.

Accel World Volume 5 by Reki Kawahara

In the year 2026, a young man by the name of Kazuto Kirigaya beat Sword Art Online, a VRMMORPG that had become a death trap for its players. He would go on to participate in experimental tests of an entirely new full-dive machine. Meanwhile in 2047, a boy named Haruyuki accelerates himself in order to finish his homework just before class. But in the Accelerated World, he detects a strange tremor. Checking the matching list, he notices a most un-Burst-Linker-like name: “Kirito.”

Akame ga KILL! Volume 4 by Takahiro

General Esdeath assembles a special police squad called the Jaegers and sets her sights on the annihilation of Night Raid in the name of the emperor. Meanwhile, Tatsumi, desperate to overcome the loss of another ally, decides to participate in a grand fighting tournament engineered by Esdeath herself.

Horimiya Volume 1 by HERO

At first glance, the ultra-popular Hori-san seems like a frivolous high school girl, but in reality, she’s plain, pragmatic, and family-oriented. On the other hand, the bespectacled Miyamura-kun comes across as an average, gloomy high school fanboy, but he’s actually an attractive young man who has a bad-boy streak and is covered in piercings and tattoos. When these two unexpectedly similar classmates have a random run-in outside of the classroom, a bubbly, sweet tale of school life begins.

Junji Ito’s Cat Diary: Yon & Mu by Junji Ito

Master of Japanese horror manga Junji Ito presents a series of hiss-terical tales chronicling his real-life trials and tribulations of becoming a cat owner. Junji Ito, as J-kun, has recently built a new house and has invited his fiancee, A-ko, to live with him. Little did he know, his blushing bride-to-be has some unexpected company in tow – Yon, a ghastly-looking family cat, and Mu, an adorable Norwegian forest cat. Despite being a dog person, J-kun finds himself purr-suaded by their odd cuteness and thus begins his comedic struggle to gain the affection of his new feline friends.

Kagerou Daze Volume 3 by Jin

Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Homura’s Revenge! Volume 2 by Magica Quartet

Syaoran and his companions embark on a new journey after receiving precious items from Watanuki. The items having come at a heavy cost, and Syaoran’s journey begins with the burden of Watanuki’s pain. Fortunately, he has his friends Fai and Kurogane, as well as the cheerful Mokona to help carry any burden and overcome any obstacle.
