New Anime Releases for the Week of July 14, 2015

This week sees new anime releases from FUNimation Entertainment, NIS America, Sentai Filmworks, and VIZ Media.

After their epic battle, the Sailor Guardians are called back to action when some new and powerful enemies appear. Ail and An are alien siblings bound to the mysterious energy-devouring Makai Tree. Things get complicated when a mysterious pink-haired girl falls from the sky, demands the Legendary Silver Crystal, and claims Mamoru for her own. Could there also be a new Sailor Guardian?

The answer, sadly, will have to wait, as once again events in Halkeginia are running out of control and Saito and Louise find themselves, along with several other Void Mages, pressed into service to save the world.

Coming to a new town to start high school can be intimidating, and that’s especially true for Cocoa, who can’t find the place she’s supposed to be staying when she arrives. When she stops at a cafe to ask for directions, however, it turns out that she’s already where she needs to be. You see, the Rabbit House is both a restaurant and a boarding house, and Cocoa will be working there along with the owner’s granddaughter, Chino, and the strangely military-obsessed Rize. It’s a great place to work, business is hopping, and Cocoa’s fits right in with her new coworkers, as well as the girls from two other rival cafes. Still, there is something just a little odd about the Rabbit House. Besides the fact that Rize usually carries a Glock and a knife hidden on her, there’s also a mystery involving the shop’s pet rabbit, Tippy.

A Lull in the Sea Part 1 DVD

Due to the closure of their middle school, four students from the sea, Manaka Mukaido, Hikari Sakishima, Chisaki Hiradaira, and Kaname Isaki must attend middle school on the land, despite the growing tension between the land and sea people. While getting used to their new lives, these four and their new friend from the land, Tsumugu Kihara, plan to put on an Ofunehiki, a festival traditionally organized by the land and the sea people, in an attempt to create peace between the two villages.

One day, an unexpected discovery leads everyone to revisit the events of the Ofunehiki and unlock the mysteries lying deep beneath the sea.

Sanji meets his dream girl when the crew crosses paths with Camie, a beautiful mermaid in distress. Luffy agrees to help Camie save her best friend, but the rescue is quickly complicated by surly sea monsters, dive-bombing flying fish, and a foe with an eerily familiar face. The situation gets even stickier when the friend in need of rescue turns out to be a gilled goon from Nami’s dark past. Nevertheless, Luffy proves to be a man of his word and unveils some new tricks in a toe-to-toe brawl with a giant brute of a bull.
