Movie Deals: 50% Off Criterion Collection
Cinema buffs, now is your chance to boost your movie collections without destroying your bank account.
Barnes and Noble has started their annual Criterion Collection sale, dropping literally hundreds of films from a plethora of renowned directors by fifty percent! DVD prices range from $7.95 (for the classic short subject The Red Balloon) to $199.99 (for AK100, a 25-movie boxset celebrating the works of Akira Kurosawa). The smaller, yet constantly expanding Blu-Ray releases range from $14.99 (for Kon Ichikawa Makioka Sisters) to $62.49 (for the America Lost and Found: The BBS Story, a seven film look into 1960s American culture).
I’ve already picked up The Great Dictator, Robinson Crusoe on Mars, House, and Solaris from this deal, and I’m probably nowhere near done. Be sure to act fast, though, as there is no telling when this deal will end.
