When I’m up late at work, coding away at the site’s core HTML and CSS, I find that it helpful to have background noise going on that I don’t really have to listen to, but also drowns out the tinnitus that I have to hear ALL THE TIME. Hence today’s track.
Don’t get me wrong, Luna Sea is an amazing J-Rock band and I’ve enjoyed them for any number of years…they’re just not quite on the epic scale as other groups from Japan that I enjoy. They’re perfect candidates for background noise and today’s song “Tonight” off of their 2000 album Lunacy is perhaps one of their best.
I know, ringing endorsement eh? Please excuse my blase attitude towards music right now. Hours of looking at code tends to wear on one’s emotions. Have a listen, and let me know what you think.
