Daddy Time #1 – How to Train Your Dragon

FEATURED, WATCH on December 10
When I woke up this morning from a long night of podcasting and handling on-call duties from my Clark Kent job. I knew that I wanted to do nothing more than spend time with my daughter at home, being lazy bums, and not doing much of anything except play and watch movies. Unfortunately for me, we only had time to see one movie.

OLD =/= BAD

FEATURED, READ on December 8
How many people here still watch movies from when they were kids? A lot of you? A few of you? Doesn’t really matter for this piece because I simply want to put you all into the way-back machine to blow the lid off of this current trend of hating on old media simply because it’s not new. I hear on a weekly basis that game x hasn’t held...

The Only Facebook Game I’ll Support

PLAY on December 5
I am not the biggest fan of Facebook, but I understand that it is THE way people communicate with each other these days. Forget phone calls, or text messages…it’s all about ‘liking’ people and ‘status updates’. While I don’t mind that aspect of the social network, I do NOT relish the idea of game companies...

Irvin Kershner is Dead

WATCH on November 29
I hate being the guy who has nothing but bad news, but dammit, the geek world has lost another shining light this past weekend. The director of multiple IPs that are near and dear to many geeks has passed on. That’s right, not only have we lost Nielsen, but now we have to suffer in a world where Lucas isn’t bound to the Earth by his mentor,...

Tron Legacy – 2 New Clips

WATCH on November 29
I’ve decided today that I will be spending the entire day of December 17th at my local IMAX theatre (about 40 miles away) watching this movie over and over and over again. I’m such an Avatar’d it’s not even funny. Seriously, seeing it 3 times in the theater should be proof enough that I really enjoyed this movie. The Social Network Gets Spoofed

WATCH on November 16
I can’t possibly be the only person who refused to see The Social Network, I can’t be! It’s not that I don’t think it would be an excellent movie, I just have no urge to see a movie based on the Facebook founder and how it all got started. It’s too soon!
