There are some songs from Sublime that make me glad that the group doesn’t exist anymore and then there are the gems that are hidden around all of the commecial songs the group made such as this song off of their self-titled album. “April 29, 1992 (Miami)” is a chronicling the bands’ involvement in the race riots over the Rodney King court decision where they discuss getting their recording equipment and high priced liquor. It’s a great song for those that want to revel in the moments of anarchy that this country gets to participate in every once in a while.
