Mass Effect 2 ‘Arrival’ DLC given release date
The final piece of Mass Effect 2 DLC before Mass Effect 3 will be released on Xbox Live, Playstation Network and PC on March 29th, Bioware announced in a press release today. The 360/PC and PS3 will get three new achievements and trophies respectively. It will also be available for 560MSP, £5.49/$7 or 560 Bioware points.
‘Arrival’ will see Commander Shepard being sent to rescue an undercover agent who possibly has evidence that can prove that the Reapers are real and that they’re ready to make an invasion. Admiral Hackett (played by Lance Henrikson) will also be returning with a large role in this DLC.
I think the general consensus here at WPR is that Mass Effect is an awesome series. With this being the last DLC pack for Mass Effect 2, it’s more than likely that it’ll lay the ground for Mass Effect 3 later this year and perhaps explain why Big Ben still exists in the future Earth that is being invaded by the Reapers in the teaser trailer for the game. More fun with Commander Shepard and the Normandy crew will do just fine anyway.
