Big news for Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds out of Capcom; the highly anticipated comic book lover’s wet dream finally has a release date! Assuming you didn’t spend your paycheck on shiny metals for your significant other, or drowned your sorrows in pints upon pints of Americone Dream, you can have Marvel vs. Capcom 3 in your hands on February 15th, 2011. For you collectors out there, Capcom has also announced and priced a Special Edition version of the title. At $69.99, you get the following.

  • A steelbook copy of the game (perfect for tossing at hadouken-spamming friend)
  • A comic/art book, including a 12-page prologue, campaign art, and fan art
  • A 1-month subscription to Marvel Digital Comics, with unlimited access
  • A download code for 2 DLC characters, Jill Valentine and Shuma Gorath, set to be available 4 weeks after the game’s release.
  • One last bit of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 news: two more characters have been announced (Marvel’s She-Hulk and Mega Man’s Zero), bringing the total revealed at 30 characters.

    Again, Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds will hit stores on February 15, 2011 for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
