Looper, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Emily Blunt and Bruce Willis. Was picked up over at the fancy pants film festival Cannes. All I really care about is time traveling hit-men that go into the past to kill their victims so that there is no evidence…and Bruce Willis.

Come on, Bruce Willis is a manly man mainstay, I grew up watching his action movies as a kid, and I still dig his stuff as an adult. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve quoted from his characters and danced the jigg like on The Last Boy Scout. So bear with me as I just crank up my hype machine a little bit.

Here is what I know so far about the movie directed and written by Rian Johnson:

A contract killer who works for the mob of the future, and who kills victims that are sent back in time 30 years, so there is no trace of the crime in the future. It’s a great gig, until the killer (Gordon-Levitt) recognizes that one of his targets (Willis) is a futuristic version of himself.
