Lollipop Chainsaw is definitely a Suda 51 game

If you weren’t convinced of the insanity from the first screenshots, here’s the first trailer for Suda 51 and Grasshopper Manufacture’s Lollipop Chainsaw.

I don’t think anything I can say will complement the trailer better than it does itself. You’ve got a very loli-esque Japanese schoolgirl only she’s a foul mouthed American Cheerleader and instead of high school shenanigans there’s well…zombies. Zombies that turn into lollipop rainbows when Juliet uses her chainsaw to slice them up. It’s more than likely that this’ll bomb at retail but find a place in the heart of everyone who already enjoys Suda 51’s insane visions. Although Suda 51 games do sometimes lack a little in the gameplay department, you can’t blame the guy for delivering some one of a kind games. Lollipop Chainsaw is out in 2012 on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 and from this first trailer, it certainly stands out from the crowd, in a good way.
