LA Noire Rockstar Pass Detailed

The mysterious Rockstar Pass that surrounded the release of LA Noire has been confirmed and detailed, and it’s not as sinister as it sounds. In short, the Rockstar Pass costs $10/800MSP until June 14th (when it rises to $12/960MSP) and you will get all of the available and currently announced DLC for LA Noire in that package. That ranges from superficial addons like the Broderick Detective, Buttonman and Sharpshooter Detective Suit and their guns and a badge pursuit challenge to four new LA Noire cases, three of which were available from different pre-order outlets. It’s another case of pre-order content being available later anyway.

Out today are the Vice desk case “The Naked City” and the Traffic desk case “A Slip Of The Tongue” for $4/320MSP each. Also out today are the previously mentioned suits and challenge. The Arson desk Case “Nicholson Electroplating Disaster” will be released on June 21st and The Vice desk case “Reefer Madness” on July 12th. The prices for the latter two cases aren’t mentioned but it can be assumed that they will be the same price as the other cases. So essentially, if you’re certain that you’ll be picking up all of the DLC cases that get released for LA Noire then you can make a 50% saving until June 14th. Our review is coming soon, but if the game’s cases are any indication for the length of these DLC cases then $10 for four cases is a good deal.
