Kindle: 99 Cent Game Deals (Including “Scrabble” and “New York Times Crosswords”)

In an event that will last until March 27th, Amazon has lowered the price of many of the games available on the Kindle platform to 99 cents, including the extremely popular board game, “Scrabble”.

These titles are normally $4.99 and are now for a limited time only 80% off of their already low prices. I can personally vouch for “Scrabble” it seems like that game was made for the Kindle. My only real jive with it is there is no online capabilities (it seems like it could have been implemented). The computer offers up a decent challenge. I would also strongly suggest the “New York Times Crossword Puzzles”. Advertised as 30 per collection (and there are 3 collections of varying degrees of difficulty) for a dollar is less than the price of purchasing the paper everyday to play the game “analog”. The only other real title of note is “Texas Hold ‘Em” which I imagine is a pretty good conversion over to the Kindle as well.

If you want something to do on the Kindle besides reading, you might want to pick up a few of these. Check out the source link for the full lineup of games offered.
