Today’s It Came from Obscurity I feel hard pressed to call a recommendation, since I will likely never play it again. I do, however, suggest that you give this title a playthrough. Covetous was initially created as a Ludum Mini-Dare 20 competition entry under the theme of “Greed”. To those not familiar with this competition, Ludum Dare is a contest where a single developer must design and create a working game title under a certain theme in under 48 hours. The gameplay itself isn’t anything special, as all you really do is move around and collect dots to grow bigger, and the textual cues are atrociously spelled at times. Though, despite its faults, I found the game somewhat intriguing and more than a little disturbing.

The title can be played HERE, and it will only take about 2 minutes of your time. The audio really intensifies the experience, so be sure to wear headphones or play in a place with little distraction.
