Halo: Reach Added to Games on Demand
Are you a lazy shut-in who can’t be bothered to go to the game store and don’t want to spend the five minutes it would take to search for a new or used copy online? Then good buddy, we’ve got a deal for you.
Microsoft’s Xbox Live Games on Demand service has always been hit or miss, and with their announcement this week that the 6.5 gigabyte download of Halo: Reach will cost you $49.99 to download. Yeah, and we may think that’s a shitty price, but the poor Brits have it worse. Their download will set them back about £49.99, which is approximately 150% the cost of the American one.
Don’t even get me started on the fact you can go to a local GameStore and pick up a used copy for much cheaper than that and if you don’t buy used, you can get a NEW copy for HALF that price.
I dunno, I think that they’re weighing heavily on the heavy set of gamers who don’t want to exert themselves to get this game…or even worse, they’re preying on gamers that get drunk and don’t realize what they’ve purchased until they’ve sobered up…much like a one-night stand with a lady who looks like Captain Caveman.
