So much turkey…

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!!! Now that you’re all done stuffing your face full of turkey and pie, may we suggest an after-holiday Geek Dad Report palate cleanse. We present to you episode 36, a very special Thanksgiving themed show that features some epic Seahawks on Steelers hate crimes, ninja news, a Geek Dad Review by Ryan of Batman: The War Years 1939-1945, Wonder Woman: The War Years 1941-1945, and Superman: The War Years 1938-1945 each by Roy Thomas. Ryan had an incredibly informative time reading these and feels that they make a perfect gift this year for that nerd in your life. We also attempted Rants, recommendations, a review of Itty Bitty Hellboy: Search for the Were-Jaguar #1 in Comics You Crave, a turkey fueled viewer Q&A, and finally a special Beethoven inspired Game of Throne and The Walking Dead celebration. Enjoy!

Don’t forget you can also find us on Facebook, Twitter, and our audio only version of the show on Podhell and iTunes. Like, share, and subscribe!!

This Week’s Recommendation:

Ryan: He thinks everyone should read Conan the Avenger #20 by Dark Horse Comics. It’s the start of a great new Conan story arc and it’s a perfect place to start reading if you are new to Conan comics. Also Ryan just really loves Conan, and he wants everyone to love Conan with him.

Brian: I think everyone should go see Matt Damon in The Martian. It’s a great movie that’s surprising funny, thrillingly suspenseful, and full of great performances. It really does deserve all the great reviews it’s gotten and it’s a must see on the big screen.
