We’re Brian and Ryan, and we’re here to pump…you up.

Brian and Ryan are back for another laughtastic episode of the Geek Dad Report. This week on the big show we talk Star Wars toys and Force Friday, video game movie news, Nickelodeon bringing shows back, the NFL and the Concussion movie trailer, Amazon Prime’s awesome new feature, SyFy show renewals, and lastly the big Marvel shakeup in our weekly Ninja News. We also discuss why Steven Spielberg doesn’t know what the Hell he’s talking about in our topic of the week. Followed up by everyone’s favorite segment (or at least our favorite segment) Rants. This week we decided that since we wasted all our weekly dad quota talking about our kids first day of the new school year, we’d rant about something new, namely that dirty cheater Tom Brady. We then hand out the Gold Star to a new winner in this week’s viewer fueled Q&A, and lastly give out our weekly recommendations. It’s a super-sized episode, so we really hope your brought a big appetite for something awesome. Enjoy!!!

Don’t forget, you can now also find an audio only version of our show at PodHell, Stitcher, and of course iTunes. Don’t forget to subscribe to our various show outlets and we’d love it if you rated and reviewed us. We love your feedback and want to hear from you guys!!!

This Week’s Recommendations:

Ryan: Don’t watch TNT’s Falling Skies. It isn’t worth your time, seriously, don’t waste a second watching. The last season was painful, and that finale…awful. Damn you TNT for making us care about these characters only to give us that turd of an ending.

Brian: I think everyone should play in a fantasy football league. There are many different websites out there that offer free leagues (personally I use yahoo’s fantasy football league) and most have a simple companion app you can use on your phone or tablet to manage your team. It’s a great way to follow the NFL if you’re a fan, and if you’re not a fan it’s still a great way to connect with your friends and coworkers. Plus, it’s just a fun time playing GM and using strategy to create a talented roster of players that can dominate your opposition.
