360 Price Cut Coming Soon

PLAY on August 25 The Xbox 360 is going to be getting a price cut for certain according to next week’s Target ad that will be out this Sunday. The Xbox 360 Pro with its 60gb HDD will be available at $249.99, and the Elite will be getting a price cut as well…all the way down to $299.99. Let the console wars begin!  

New Mass Effect DLC Today

PLAY on August 25 All you Mass Effect whores out there (myself included) can now go out and be good little consumers and pick up the newest DLC, Pinnacle Station. This is the first DLC to come out of BioWare for ME in over a year.

BioWare says Mass Effect 30 FPS Locked

GC 2009: Heavy Rain Trailer

PLAY on August 18 The game is out next year and is an exclusive to the PS3. The designers consider it a “Psychological Thriller”, I consider it pretty. The full title is Heavy Rain: The Origami Killer, and there is very little else known.

This comment was met by anger by the rest of the panel of the NGCast (except for Halfleft).... 

GC 2009: Mass Effect 2 Trailer

PLAY on August 18 EA has decided to share it’s GamesCom trailer with the rest of the world. In this one you get to see a few sights and get to know the Krogan race a little bit better (if you didn’t already know). I can’t tell if this is Urdnot Wrex or not. I hope it is, he was one of my favorite squad members in the first game.  

Earthworm Jim Headed to Consoles, Maybe iPhone

PLAY on August 17 I think all of the advocating for Earthworm Jim to be the next Sega Genesis title to be released on Xbox Live might be moot after reading that Interplay has granted Gameloft rights to publish the title anywhere it sees fit…including iPhone, if they so wish.
