The chaps over at VG247 sat down with BioWare’s Jesse Houston (an associate producer) and had an enlightening interview to say the least, most importantly to me is the one little detail about Mass Effect 2 that he dropped, which had me dancing a little jig at my desk this morning.

Avatar – Game Trailer

PLAY on August 21
Continuing the love fest that I have for this movie, THQ released the trailer above at GamesCom this week in Germany. It doesn’t really give anything new from the movie, but at least it doesn’t appear as if it’s Ferngully the Game. I don’t care what people say, the movie’s gonna rock, but the game…might just suck…let’s...

MWN Reviews: I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES IN IT!!!!1

Xbox 360 Indie Games are still in their infancy right now and while there a few diamonds in the rough, most of the games are, quite frankly, garbage. But then, like I said, there are diamonds in the rough and one of the latest examples would be I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES IN IT!!!!1, developed by James Silva who also made the XBLA game The Dishwasher:...

Yeah, all of us console gamers had to swallow a huge load from the game companies when our current-gen (then next-gen) gaming systems were looming on the horizon with their promises of HD gaming…a promise that many of us are still waiting to see fulfilled.

GC 2009: Dante’s Inferno Trailer

Thanks to the fellas at Joystiq attending GamesCom in Germany, we’re lucky enough to have a new trailer from EA’s event earlier today. I really had no intention of liking this game until I read a whole bunch of the games level design and synopsis over on Wikipedia, now, I’m actually looking forward to this game hitting the shelves...

First COD4 PSP Screens Out…Or So You’d Think

PLAY on August 19
At first glance, this would probably look like a PS1/N64 game to you. Okay maybe that’s a bit too harsh but you certainly wouldn’t think these were screens for a Wii game. Wii graphics jokes aside, we all know that the system is capable of more than this. Super Mario Galaxy is an example of this. But this isn’t a joke (well it is),...

GC 2009: Heavy Rain Trailer

The game is out next year and is an exclusive to the PS3. The designers consider it a “Psychological Thriller”, I consider it pretty. The full title is Heavy Rain: The Origami Killer, and there is very little else known.

Why Sonic 2 Isn’t “A bit shit”

PLAY, READ on August 18
Every week, I listen to NGCast, which is our affiliate site Negative Gamer’s podcast.Recently, Editor-In-Chief Wardrox brought up how he had been playing Sonic The Hedgehog 2 properly for the first time and how he thought it was a “bit shit”. This comment was met by anger by the rest of the panel of the NGCast (except for Halfleft)....

GC 2009: Mass Effect 2 Trailer

PLAY on August 18
EA has decided to share it’s GamesCom trailer with the rest of the world. In this one you get to see a few sights and get to know the Krogan race a little bit better (if you didn’t already know). I can’t tell if this is Urdnot Wrex or not. I hope it is, he was one of my favorite squad members in the first game.

Earthworm Jim Headed to Consoles, Maybe iPhone

PLAY on August 17
I think all of the advocating for Earthworm Jim to be the next Sega Genesis title to be released on Xbox Live might be moot after reading that Interplay has granted Gameloft rights to publish the title anywhere it sees fit…including iPhone, if they so wish.

New Beatles Rock Band Video

PLAY on August 17
I just stumbled across this trailer from IGN, and I thought with all the love we’ve been giving TB:RB in the past couple of weeks, it deserves a spot on the site. Don’t let Gibbo know that I’m encroaching on his Rock Bands, he might get upset.
