Foo Fighters’ ‘Wasting Light’ now streaming on their website

The best part is that they’re streaming the whole album. If you go on the Foo Fighters website at the moment, you can listen to the whole of their upcoming seventh studio album, due to be released on April 11th. I personally think it’s pretty awesome when bands do stuff like this. Nothing beats listening to a physical CD or record but a chance to hear the whole thing before it’s even available publicly is just cool when it’s from the band themselves. Anyway, I’m going to go have a listen, onto the second track now.

Wasting Light comes four years after Foo Fighters’ last album, Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace. It’s produced by Butch Vig, who last worked with Grohl when Vig produced Nirvana’s Nevermind. The entire album was recorded in Dave Grohl’s garage and was recorded using analog equipment. Nirvana bassist and co-founder Krist Novoselic plays bass on the I Should Have Known.
