First Track From “Muppets: The Green Album” is Alkaline Trio’s “Moving Right Along”

Purevolume.com has posted the first track from the upcoming Muppets cover album “The Green Album”.

As a major Alkaline Trio and Muppets fanatic, this was one of the only songs on the record that I was really looking forward to. For an Alkaline Trio track, it is a bit interesting. It was mentioned to me that it sounds very positive. Which it obviously is a very positive song. It isn’t quite as “up the punx” as some of their other songs have been. It also doesn’t have a morbid sense of depression about it. It is great to hear actually. I would love to hear Matt and Dan try the “dueling” vocals on more of their own tracks.
