First COD4 PSP Screens Out…Or So You’d Think
At first glance, this would probably look like a PS1/N64 game to you. Okay maybe that’s a bit too harsh but you certainly wouldn’t think these were screens for a Wii game. Wii graphics jokes aside, we all know that the system is capable of more than this. Super Mario Galaxy is an example of this. But this isn’t a joke (well it is), this is a real game, more precisely the first screen of the upcoming pointless Treyarch port of Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. I don’t think even need to explain what’s bad about it, but I will anyway. Jaggies galore, blurry textures and it’s obvious that the guy on the bottom right has been photoshopped in, as if it would make up for the rest of the screenshot. Instead of just complaining, I’ll compare this to a number of games from consoles that have the same graphical potential of the Wii. Hit the jump.
Call Of Duty 2: Big Red One – Playstation 2, Gamecube, Xbox (2005)
Call Of Duty 3 – Nintendo Wii (2006)
Medal Of Honor Heroes 2 – Nintendo Wii (2007)
Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike – Gamecube (2003)
Counter-Strike – Xbox (2004)
Battlefield 2: Modern Combat – Playstation 2, Xbox (2005)
I think those speak for themselves. The sad thing? This game is going to do well thanks to the Wii’s “casual” audience. (Thanks to IGN for the pictures)
