Final Fantasy Tactics hits the PlayStation Store
Final Fantasy Tactics is one of the greatest video games ever created. Let’s just get that out of the way. It has a plot that rivals most Shakespearean plays, amazing gameplay, deep character customization, and a metric shitton of side quests. And now it is available for purchase on the PlayStation Store for only $9.99. That’s a pretty goddamn good deal if you ask me, considering an Amazon.com search shows that a new copy of a PlayStation disc of FFT runs around $100.
And yes, I am aware of the fact that there is already a PSP port of FFT, War of the Lions. While that may already be available and have 2 extra character classes, have you tried playing that motherfucker? The battle animations are slower than old people fucking. It’s seriously almost unplayable.
I really hate to encourage Square-Enix from making money without actually having to do anything, but fuck, keep ’em coming, I’m buying. I’m a whore for anything Square made on the PS1, and I know tons of other people are too. So keep it up guys. Let’s see us some Xenogears sometime soon.
