For all of you people that demand a physical copy of all that you own, then fret no longer and get them wallets ready.

The folks at Capcom knew that they’d have an instant hit on their hands when they released the remastered version of the NES classic DuckTales, but it takes a special kind of game to earn a disc port when it’s normally just a downloaded game. If you don’t want to wait, because there’s honestly no need to, the game is already available on every damn platform out right now (minus the handhelds) including PC.

However, if you are absolutely the kind of collector I think you might be and want a sexy little jewel case with the artwork splashed on the outside, the hard copy version will be shipping out to all retail outlets in North America this November 12th. It will have the price tag of $19.99 which should make you all happy since I recall the original NES version costing my parents nearly four times that amount.

I haven’t played it but I have seen it in action and it’s gorgeous, and the spirit of the game is intact along with the great remastered soundtrack. It’s a definite pick-up for the millenials that never grew up with the game. Maybe one day I’ll get around to it, but for now I’m happy just letting you know that it’s coming soon to a store near you.
