DC LoT blu ray

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment provided me with a free copy of the Blu-ray I reviewed for this blog post. The opinions I share are my own.

We’ve covered Legends of Tomorrow extensively on our Geek Dad Report show so I’ll spare you loyal readers the rundown of the season in long form. Essentially, we enjoyed what Legends of Tomorrow had to offer, it was a roller coaster ride that ended on a high note with the *SPOILER ALERT* introduction of Hour Man in the finale and the Justice Society of America in season 2! Our minds and bodies are ready for what Legends of Tomorrow has to deliver, and we’re extra curious if Flashpoint is going to have any ripples on the timeline for this show as well.

Here are the new things you can catch from the Blu-ray that make this investment of your money worth it.

  • DC’s Legends of Tomorrow 2015 Comic-Con Panel
  • Jonah Hex: Hex Marks the Spot – Journey behind the scnes of “The Magnificent Eight” as producers bring the legend of Jonah Hex and the ways of the Old West to life.
  • A Fantastic Voyage: Touring the Waverider Set – Journey behind the scenes with the production design team responsible for brining the Waverider to life. From the origin of the time traveling ship, to the VFX that completes the illion, a complete look.
  • History in the Making Explore the cross over between fact and fiction, as the Legends team makes contact with a variety of eras through the series. Time travel with the heroes and villains of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
  • Gag Reel

I have to say my two favorites from the extras was the gag reel and the Waverider set tour. I love spaceship design and it’s always very cool for me to see how something is made from concept to what we get on scene. It gave me some great insight into the show, and after re watching a couple of episodes, I found myself looking past the actors and just looking around the scenery in the Waverider.

If you want to pick up a copy, I highly suggest you snag Legends of Tomorrow Season 1 on Bluray for $44.98! Do it now, and save the future, you wont be sorry.
