Today I read the latest installment of BPRD. I just wanted to thank you for writing a comic that I need to read, and that I look forward to every month. After I pick up an issue I cannot wait for the next one to come out. How you keep the various series that you write fresh and exciting just astounds me. The thing that I enjoy most is that even after all the comics of yours that I have read, you can still surprise me. Take for instance the newest issues of BPRD. Just when I think that I know where the story is going it suddenly takes a left turn. Could you please tell me what is going on, please?
An issue that I feel we need to address is the cliff hanger endings. I know that we are working on small story arcs, but you are killing me with the cliff hanger endings at the end of each issue. A month is a long time to be kept in waiting and hoping. I realize that when you are fighting a giant tentacled monster you didn’t have a good place to stop, but you aren’t going to let my good friend Ben become a cold blooded murderer are you? Say it ain’t so! You are going to leave me in suspense for another month aren’t you?
In conclusion Mike, I want to know how you are going to wrap all of these seemingly unrelated stories in a single issue, (we have our fearless leader on her way to stop Armageddon in Texas, Panya screwing with Kraus for no apparent reason, and Abe in the fight to the death with a giant monster) because we only have one issue left in this story arc. Are they all related? Is it all going to work out in the end? Last of all please don’t let Abe get eaten by the behemoth, please?
