This weekend something interesting happened, and it was not just that Keanu Reeves (John Wick) has a hit movie, and it is not Ouija opening at the top.  It is St. Vincent jumping from an obscure 15 to 6th in it’s third week.  A big part of that is that it only opened in 4 theatres, and expanded to 68 this past weekend, but that is still a huge number for a film that is only in 68 theatres nationwide.  In other news Fury hung onto a 3rd place position on a slow weekend, while The Best of Me, Dracula Untold all dropped to the bottom of the list where they belong, and The Judge is still having trouble finding an audience in theatres.
