Couldn’t get enough of Battlestar Galactica? Still can’t? Well, it looks like a German Developer is going to be fulfilling your wishes.

The game, which will be introduced at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco this week, is set to be released worldwide in August or September.   What’s it going to cost you?

Nothing.

Bigpoint, based in Hamburg, Germany develops free browser based games across Asia and Europe with over 110 Million registered users, and 20 Million active monthly ones.  They are hoping to make a splash in the US since they hired on 30 people and setup shop in San Francisco.  NBC Universal, which owns SyFy, and the rights to the Battlestar Galactica franchise is a recent 70% owner in Bigpoint.  Hopefully whatever cash infusion they made equates to a better product as it’s still up in the air who you’ll get to see in the game.

Hopefully, we’ll get some more information at the Game Developers Conference.
