Truth is, kids can get inured and get a concussion with any sport. I will not go into detail, but my son suffered a sever brain injury playing basketball about 7 years ago. Your fears have merit as I would give anything for that not to have happened. Perhaps I should have been more fearful.
Are you still looking at the Note II ? i only ask because HTC has a 5" phone out for Verizon I think, (not sure if it has a stylus pen). I for one would not hesitate to by an HTC product.
I have never been a Mac/Apple user so I can't speak for how easy they are to use. But I have found my Android phone to be fairly straight forward and simple, plus Google syncs everything very well. You can even use Chrome on your phone and it will sync with your PC browser.
Welcome to the Dark Side!
(oh and the Galaxy Note II looks like a fantastic phone)
Ex lifts things up and puts them down...
you are a monster inspiration Ex!
thank you for sharing your story and best of luck too you. I look forward to reading your progress. I too have been trying to slim down and was mildly successful last year dropping 35lbs from Feb. 12'. The holidays were certainly not kind to my exercise routine nor my scale, but so far this year I am back on track lifting weights and riding my recumbent bike. I have been eating a "plant based diet" since the day after Christmas, yes no meat and very limited cheese and other dairy. I have really increased bean and leafy greens to get my protein in.
I can suggest numerous Documentaries on Netflix to help keep you motivated, like 'Hungry for Change', just ask and I can send you a list. Keep it Going!
Its interesting that the one main reason you like your iPhone is the one main reason I can't stand them: iTunes.
Many years ago, I downloaded iTunes on my PC because I read that it was the best way to put music on your phone (which it isn't). iTunes literally took over my computer. No matter what I wanted to do it tried to run it thru iTunes, games, music, movies, internet stuff.., plus it was a resource hog and slowed my PC down. It changed all of my music from mp3's to whatever apples format is, when I ripped a CD it ripped in apple's format no matter what setting I had it on.. ugh. I don't know, I just have never liked programs that take over everything. After a few months of utter agony I uninstalled it.
I for one think that streaming Netflix thru the Wii is the best thing since butter toast!
its so easy, and looks really good. I am happy now with it, and will be more so when newer movies become available.
Christ! first Pluto gets down-graded, now the Triceratops gone. Hell, next Humans will turn out to be just smart monkeys!!
