First up, I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve not actually played the game, and probably never will…I do however adore Gearbox for no other reason than Borderlands. That’s enough from one company to assure me that they’re not evil.


The class-action lawsuit was began by offended party Damion Perrine and is being handled by Edelson LLC. The complaint being lodged is that of the playable demo, previews, and trailers and how they’re essentially being sold a bill of goods that is not reflective of the final product.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve bought some pretty dumb shit in my time, but I wonder if this person ever lived through the 8-bit generation, those games’ box art were some of the worst offenders of false advertising.

Personally I hope this gets thrown out the same day it appears on the docket as an example to those who feel like they’re OWED something by buying a videogame.
